HAPPY NEW NOW

What truly inspires you? I'm not talking about something that you want or need to have. In life, most people create an agenda that supports their idea of security. Yet if we live this way, we actually rob ourselves of the whole experience of life. The idea of setting your intentions to be stuck in a circle that continues year after year with the same results is like a being hamster, running on a wheel inside its cage.

What are you running after and why? What do you expect to get and for what purpose does it serve? Do you think it will make you happy and safe? Will it give you a sense of self? Did someone else tell you to go after it?

Most of the time, we are completely unaware of what we are actually doing with our life and that much of what we do is based on a need for validation and acceptance. How can we truly understand life if we don't really live it? I mean LIVE it--breathe it, dance with it, sing to it and express it. The very core of creation is waiting on you to be truly inspired, to live without preconceived rules and make-believe systems, instead of making excuses for why your life is not where you want it to be.

Ahhh, so many put so much work into their inevitable New Years' Resolutions. The word "resolution" means an intention made, but the question we should ask ourselves is for what and why are we making this intention? Sure, we want more things--money, love, success, and acknowledgment. However, what are you willing to embrace within yourself to make long-lasting changes for a resolution to come to fruition? Are you ready to accept a higher, more balanced perspective that allows you to see the world as foryou and not against you? Adopting this mindset can truly lead to powerful, moving experiences that make life worth living instead of focusing on the things that make us want to check out.

We are not here to be slaves to the so-called belief "systems" that are presented to us. It's actually quite the contrary--we are here to learn how to move beyond limitations, into the unknown, to discover and create a new world that comes from inspired intentions for the greater good. This can only happen when "you" turns into "we," and "we" turns into "us," and "us" turns into "everyone."

It may be true that this is a "new year," but if we did not have months, dates and time, then it just IS. There is no tomorrow and there is no yesterday, next week or next year--there is only now. So what are you going to do right now and why? The choice has always and will always be yours. I say, Happy New Now.
