There is so much going on in the world right now—it all seems a little crazy. The more you work on expanding your spiritual skills, the easier it is to navigate your way out of the storm, or at least master its weather. To truly follow a spiritual path requires you to be centered in your truth and core and to regularly connect to Source. The problem most people face on this journey is the change required to open up to new thoughts and ideas that lift you out of the muck and into the seat of joy, and yes, pleasure.
Our society often shuns the word “pleasure,” associating it with sexual feelings and intimate experiences with another person. The truth is that real pleasure stems from the root of creation. Why should you care what pleasure is? Well, dear hearts, most people have lost touch with it—they simply don’t know how to tap into it. Our wonderful systems of religion made it a sin, associating it with lust and attaching fear to pleasurable experiences. It’s the same with erotic energy—anything that goes beyond vanilla is considered lustful and sinful. These theories are as dogmatic as it gets—and completely wrong.
True erotic energy comes from Source—it’s another form of creation. It’s as old as the times when people felt free in their spirit and would frolic naked under the moon. You get a hint of it when you taste amazing food—when it hits your mouth, you feel an electric current surge through your body that sends you into a state of ecstasy. This opens up your body to receive input, and in that moment, everything in life looks and feels good.
That’s why we all keep looking for stimulation, and for some, over-stimulation in ways that are not-so-harmonious or body conscience. There are both artificial and natural stimuli that come directly from Source, and the more you open yourself up, the more pleasure and elation you will feel. This is truly a divine and transformative way to live.
How do you decipher the real stimuli from the fake? It’s simple—the fake drains you and makes you tired and weak, sometimes even angry or depressed. The real makes you feel alive, joyful and expressive, and most of all, creative beyond belief. The natural high feels good and energizing, and is easily transferred to anyone in your vicinity.
A good example is when someone is glowing and someone tells them, “Wow, there something different about you.” It’s a comment people often hear after having really good sex. The truth is the person is glowing because they tapped into universal pleasure, aka Source, through whatever experience they just had. As a human, they opened up on a vulnerable level and let go, while enjoying the freedom of spirit and joy. This is exactly what’s needed to reach these levels of purity and heighten awareness.
So here is an exercise to awaken your senses and begin raising your vibration to reach higher states of joy. Start with an inhale and an exhale, however, when you exhale I want you to moan like an animal. Repeat it. If you laugh, good. Laugh hard, laugh at your life, laugh at all the rules you create to cage your primal core. Then inhale again and quickly moan as you exhale. If your mind starts to think, “What the hell am I doing?” then you know you’re on the right path.
Stepping into unknown territory creates a change and lifts your energy. Your mind might try to make you feel embarrassed and a little uneasy—so what? Keep going with the breathing. For about five minutes or so, you should feel tingling and chills, be lightheaded or experience warm sensations with a rush of joy. If you cry, good—if you yawn, even better. Yawning releases stagnant Chi energy. If you can do the exercise for longer, please attempt to perform 10 minutes of the this erotic, rhythmic breathing.
After you stop, either sit or lie down, and base yourself in the energy that you feel. This is connecting and raising the vibration of the cells, atoms and electrons in your body. You should feel euphoric and relaxed. Notice the many different sensations you are feeling—you’re tapping into your pleasure centers. It will take time, but with focus and practice, you can reach elevated states of spiritual bliss. Drop me a note and let me know how it goes. Remember, life is meant to be pleasurable and joyful, so work on feeling good!
