SPIRITUALITY AND MUMBO JUMBO

Just the other day, I was telling my friend, Jessica, how it must really suck to live on this planet and not have a connection to Source. As she agreed, we looked at each other-- as our eyes connected, there was a deeper meaning we both felt inside--the kind that goes beyond words. The feeling inside was intense and sad and happy all at the same time.

We both knew deep within our beings that the idea of not having Source in our lives was the same as not having a home, food on the table or water to drink. We saw a flash of abandonment for a split second and then a revelation of why spirits are really pushing to get through our veil of illusion and discord, so we can have a clear, profound relationship with the whole of creation.

It dawned on me that much of the reason behind people not having a connection to Source in a way that lifts them up to a loving, creative place is because the idea of spirit has been polluted with mumbo jumbo. It's enough to make you go atheist. So many people have run far away from spiritual ideas because the guy standing on the corner preaching "Go to Jesus or go to hell" has scared them off. They're running from the fundamentals spouting everything they think they know about Source--some of which is true but much of which is false, especially the fear based stuff. However, it's not just them, it's also the "new agers" who speak in words that most people are not privy to unless they've picked up a book about all things esoteric and metaphysical. Plus, you have people killing, fighting and judging--all in the name of Source.

It's clear that we have to be accountable to the greater whole of humanity by understanding where we are in evolution. We must figure out how we, as educators of Source, can make it accessible for people to find their own connection, without feeling confused lost, angry or fearful. We must spread understanding of how to connect by building a playful, fun and explorative relationship with our creator if we want people to feel safe and loved as opposed to scared and confused.

We've got to stop pedaling information to the masses that are based in lofty expectations, fear-based drama and whacked out concepts of how to get down the golden road to nirvana. While we all want a better world, many of our actions push people into fear and separation from the Source. Now do you really think that you're serving our creator by running his/her children away? That's what happens when the approach is based on fear.

Let's get one thing right--love is the opposite of fear, plain and simple. Let's start thinking for the greater whole and be more accountable of how we share info when it comes to Source. And for the many people who are running from Source, forgive them for they know not what they do. All we want is to be loved. I get it.
