Shamanic Forecast Example!
April 3rd is a preparation day to honor the goddess Ēostre. In this celebration, you are going to dump out the contents of eggs by poking holes into them, and then writing all the things you want to bring into fertility/birth into life on a small piece of paper, rolling it up, and putting it inside the egg. Taking another piece of paper, you will cover the hole and paint the egg. Now bringing the eggs and sitting in front of a beautiful spring-colored candle, you are going to take chocolate bunnies or anything that represents a chocolate bunny and put all the things you are bringing into life for healing, transformation, and love into the bunny.
Hold the chocolate bunny and say “download into the chocolate bunny: love, courage, strength, etc.” or “merge the spirit of strength, merge the spirit of wealth, merge the spirit of prosperity, etc. in this chocolate bunny.” Eat the chocolate bunny and then take your eggs out in nature, where they can be buried or just placed somewhere beautiful to be released in nature.
On the day of Easter, April 4th, you are going to celebrate with people that you love. Another ritual you can do on April 3rd is to dump out the contents of eggs by poking holes in them, and write blessings, whether it be a blessing of prosperity, healing, etc., onto a paper that goes inside the egg and then cover and paint the eggs. With this, on the day of Easter, April 4th, you want to give your eggs out to those you care about so they can break them open and see what thing will be birthed into their lives.
The goddess Ēostre represents both Easter and fertility. The rabbit represents overcoming your fears and bringing in new things into your life. Bring something beautiful, shiny, or something that represents spring-like flowers or a crystal for an altar to the goddess Ēostre. Leave your offerings for three days after Easter, and on the third-day dance in front of the altar and call forth the sacredness of the old times and old magic, and old spirit to rise in you for all things you have done to be created with grace and ease.
