Transformation is upon us, and for many it’s bringing up one of the most primal of issues: survival. As a result, a cacophony of spiritual cries are being heard, and many of us are experiencing a type of pressure we’ve never known.
These strong feelings are surfacing with a purpose, so that we may recognize what needs to be healed, resolved and transformed. But, despite this global call to action, many are unable to progress effortlessly through this great metamorphosis. Our internal growing pains are sometimes resounding in ways that feel unsettling, foreign, or stress inducing.
The façade we’ve known feels different now, like something we’ve grown out of, something that no longer fits our newly awakened consciousness.
The current shift is undoing the status quo as we know it. Our connections to the mundane world are no longer serving us, nor serving the collective of this planet that we call home. But, in order for us to feel balanced in regard to who we are, where we are, or where we’re going–each of us requires certain needs to be met in order to feel safe.
Whenever we ponder these requirements, we’ll very often reach first toward attributes and rewards that are earthly based. We might exclaim that we need more money in order to feel secure, that we need a bigger house, a better job, a new car, or for the perfect soulmate to appear. All of these desires are well and good, and oftentimes necessary, but are we hearing what’s being demanded from within?
One of the reasons we’re experiencing such inordinate amounts of pressure is because of the things to which we’ve have attached ourselves. The pre-pandemic thrills and comforts of yesteryear seem to no longer have an impact on calming, distracting, or serving us.
Our emerging souls are demanding a new form of attention, demanding realization, crying out for resolve, and to bring forth something transformed from deep within us. The façade we’ve known feels different now, like something we’ve grown out of, something that no longer fits our newly awakened consciousness.
Once we’re connected to more energetic and energy-based forms of sustenance, we’ll then maintain a resource of greater value than anything available upon this earth.
We’re experiencing a call to honesty in regard to the lives we’ve created, and to carefully scrutinize the false systems that many of us have been programmed to believe. We must learn instead to tap into what will serve and nourish on an authentic level, revealing the truth of who we really are. In doing so, we’ll begin to disconnect from the false identities we’ve relied upon.
The most steadfast sense of security arises from an internal connection to the divine, a connection to source, to something more profound than temporal desires. Once we’re connected to more energetic and energy-based forms of sustenance, we’ll then maintain a resource of greater value than anything available upon this earth.
It would benefit each of us to examine more carefully the non-physical, the causal world of the spiritual and the energetic.
What can we do in order to soften these transformational side-effects, and to behold the shining destination that we’re being guided toward? It would benefit each of us to examine more carefully the non-physical, the causal world of the spiritual and the energetic.
The primary energy centers are called ‘chakras,’ which in Sanskrit means ‘wheels.’ Each chakra has its own function, its own gifts and effects, each depending upon its state of balance or imbalance. The chakra that rules our instincts, our sense of security and survival is the ‘root chakra,’ which is located at the base of the spine. The root chakra is the first energy point that sustains our bodies, our vehicles, and our physical identities on earth.
When the root chakra is out of balance, your life maintains a sense of instability. You might sometimes feel as if you don’t belong, as if you’re not connected to anything or anyone. An imbalanced root chakra might also cause you to experience life as if you’re going through the motions, floating outward, or as if you’re living without any real directive or purpose. This imbalance impacts every aspect of your being, from your health, your emotions, even your career. When you aren’t correctly anchored into reality, your fight or flight instincts become activated.
Every connection you make from a committed place, creates a cord that securely connects you to our planet, and to your new foundation. It’s time to begin moving inward and connecting, while creating enriching relationships, and honoring your needs. One of the most important things you can do, is to make an honest commitment to be fully present here on earth. This can be expressed through connections with those around you, in your home, at work, and bridging to all of your endeavors and passions.
Physical activity and exercise have a positive impact on root chakra health, as does connecting intimately with nature. Sink your bare feet deep into the sand, the soil, the grass. Feel, and revel in the earth beneath you, breathe it in deeply. Spend time with loved ones, eat as healthy as you can, study sleep hygiene, and learn what your body needs in order get more zzz’s. Level up the comfort of your home, eliminate clutter, add plants and fresh cut flower, light candles. Create a haven in which to flourish!
Explore what brings joy and excitement, and remember to practice gratitude whenever you can. Recognize and drink in the abundance that’s around you! Aromatherapy oils are also useful in healing the root chakra; try rosemary, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, patchouli, or myrrh.
Each of these you can commit to now, it can be as simple as that! Every connection you make from a committed place, creates a cord that securely connects you to our planet, and to your new foundation. I invite you to remember the ways that so many of us have forgotten, and in doing so you’ll ignite an awareness within. Humanity will then forge paths toward lives that are grander, and more beautiful than we ever could imagine.
This is the foundation on which to build your dreams!
